Astara, a leading global mobility and automotive distribution company (and the Philippine distributor of Peugeot vehicles) has announced a collaboration with Salesforce, the global leader in Customer Relationship Management (CRM, to accelerate its shift to digital.
Astara is a global user of Salesforce and under this agreement both companies will explore and assess how new business models of this industry will be supported digitally with Salesforce solutions. The collaboration has been made public during Dreamforce 2022, the Salesforce annual conference and world’s largest business software event.
Astara is an innovative global company with presence in 17 countries, 3 continents and 3,000 employees that has evolved from car distribution to a broad portfolio of products and services related to mobility.
Astara identifies and tracks global trends in a customer-led market to chase new opportunities and build useful future mobility solutions. The portfolio includes business lines related to car distribution with more than 200,000 cars sold in 2021, car subscription to cover individual needs, connectivity and market intelligence that enables brands to get insights for their strategy at corporate level.
Under the terms of the collaboration, both companies are expanding the commercial relationship they have since 2015, and are working together on digital transformation projects. Additionally, and leveraging this collaboration and the current deployments of Salesforce in Astara, both parties agree on exploring the journey for a future adoption by Astara of Salesforce automotive specialized solutions.
