Ford President Checks Quality Of Next-Generation Ranger, Everest


Jim Farley, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company, whose focus is to improve overall quality from the get go visited the company’s Thailand manufacturing base reinforcing the Auto Alliance Thailand (AAT) and Ford Thailand Manufacturing (FTM)’s role as a global manufacturing and export hub.

Diane Craig, Group President, International Markets, Ford Motor Company, led Ford executives in Thailand to welcome Jim Farley and Kumar Galhotra, Ford Blue President to the assembly plants which serve as the main production bases of the next-generation Ford Ranger and Ford Everest.

During the factory tour, Farley and Kalhotra met with production line workers and joined in congratulating Ford’s success in delivering the next-generation vehicles.

Farley also visited a Ford dealership in Rayong to watch a demonstration of how the “Ford+” strategy was applied in day-to-day operations. The Ford+ plan is about fueling the passion and livelihood of customers by offering not just great products, but pairing that with a simple, connected, and convenient ownership experience that earns loyalty.

Ford is one of the largest automotive companies in Thailand with a cumulative investment valued at more than 3.4 billion US dollars through the FTM and AAT factories.
