Everyone loves a winner. A year after Honda pulled out of Formula 1 to focus on their electrification plans, the carmaker is back with a strengthened partnership with the Red Bull Group.
The two Red Bull Group teams, Red Bull Racing and Scuderia AlphaTauri will feature the Honda logo once again. The “H” brand will adorn the F1 cars starting at this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix and will last until the end of 2025.
When Honda pulled out of Formula 1, Red Bull Racing created Red Bull Powertrains as a separate division with supplies and technical support from Honda Racing Corporation (HRC).
Together with this expanded partnership, Honda has announced that Red Bull Racing driver Sergio Perez will serve as a Honda Racing School ambassador and will participate in the HRS Driver Academy which will be held in November 2022.
Meanwhile, all four Red Bull Group drivers—Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, Pierre Gasly, and Yuki Tsunoda, will participate in the Honda Racing Thanks Day 2022 slated in November 27, 2022 in Japan.
Hopefully Yuki performs well at Suzuka 😎
