Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), turns over P 250,000 cash donation to Irosin District Hospital (IDH) as continuation of their donation project in line with the Road To Progress vision announced during their 25th inaugural anniversary celebration.
The first part of the hospital donation project was received by Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) in Cagayan De Oro. As for their second round of donation, IPC collaborated with Isuzu Legazpi under Gencars, Inc. in reaching out to a hospital in need of assistance in Bicol area.
The beneficiary is a modest government hospital under the management of Sorsogon Hospital catering patients from municipality of Irosin and nearby areas. According to IDH Administrative Officer V Anecia Bojorque, the cash donation they received will be used to purchase additional medicines and hospital supplies. IDH Chief of Hospital I Sherwin Amisola, MD, MSPH also expressed his gratitude to the assistance provided by IPC for it further extends to the people of Irosin, not just the hospital. For a relatively small hospital, IDH offers a wide range of health services and accommodates quite a number of patients, so with the donation from IPC, they can help and accommodate more people.
As a responsible partner to Filipinos, IPC actively promotes community involvement through various CSR programs. And to mark their 25th year in the industry, IPC’s responsibility continues with their vision moving towards Road To Progress which means driving the business forward while creating a better, cleaner and more sustainable environment for future generations and continuously contributing to the society. Supporting local communities by addressing their medical needs is just one of the many CSR projects IPC has lined up for their road to progress.
Before the year ends, IPC aims to strengthen their contribution to society by continuing to extend aid and assistance to more people through medical institutions, so there will be two more rounds of donation project to hospitals in NCR and Visayas Region.
