It’s officially official. Close to 50 days after we first reported it, and more than month after it appeared on their official website, Toyota Motor Philippines has confirmed what we already know: the Hilux has gained improvements for the 2023 model year.
The country’s best-selling pickup truck (with a 43 percent market share no less) adds new exterior, safety, and convenience features.
The Hilux G now comes with Tailgate Assist and Bedliner—features that were only previously available on the GR Sport and Conquest variants. Meanwhile, both the Hilux GR Sport and Conquest are now equipped with cruise control and lane departure alert. The GR Sport goes further, adding standard rear AC vents for the first time.
Aside from cruise control and lane departure alert, the Hilux Conquest and GR Sport adds the Toyota Safety Sense System. The TSS driver assist system adds pre-collision system, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure alert. On top of that, the GR Sport gets blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert.

- Toyota Hilux GR Sport 4x4 AT – P 2,039,000
Very good updates for the Hilux as TMPC is aware that its been left behind by its rivals when it comes to safety features (ADAS)..Hilux Conquest and GR-S are usually out of stock but there's an abundant units of J and G Hilux variants on sale at dealerships.
