The Grotto-Novaliches Transport Service Cooperative (GNTSC), one of the growing transport organizations servicing the Muñoz-Novaliches routes, bolsters its public transportation operations by opting for the Foton F-Jeepney F29.
Foton Philippines successfully turned over Foton F-Jeepney F29 units to GNTSC, at the Gumamela Hall Convention Center in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. The Foton Marilao dealership successfully closed the deal.
The Foton F-Jeepney F29 modern jeepneys, with their robust build, are designed to meet the standards and demands of urban and provincial roads. Their high-powered engines assure an outstanding shelf life, a foremost requirement for public utility vehicles.
“Kung ako may sariling sasakyan, private, baka hindi na ako magdala ng sasakyan e,” GNTSC Chairman Jayson Valerio shared in an interview at the turnover ceremony. “Kasi meron nang sasakyan na safe, reliable, at eco-friendl, which is Foton,” he added.
Gracing the turnover ceremony were City Mayor Arthuro B. Robes, Vice Mayor Efren Bartolome, GNTSC Chairman Jayson Valerio, Foton Philippines President Erroll Dueñas, Foton Philippines Vice President for Sales Levy S. Santos, Chief Financial Officer Jerryme Garcia and Vice President for Sales and Marketing Rommel Juan of Centro Manufacturing Corp.
The Foton F29 F-Jeepney is a 29-seater passenger vehicle, powered by a 3.8-liter Cummins ISF engine, capable of producing 154 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Moreover, these modern jeepney units ensure an improved safety and comfort for passengers, with modern functionalities such as a multi-camera security, an automatic fare collection system, and trackers.
It is among the top-tier lines of Foton Philippines’ Euro IV-compliant modern PUVs, such as the 26-seater F-Jeepney Class 3, and the F-Jeepney F11 that can carry 11 passengers.
“Maraming salamat po sa Foton Philippines na ginawan niyo kami ng matibay na sasakyan,” Chairman Valerio quipped, while inspecting the newly acquired Foton units of their cooperative. “Ang Foton Philippines po ang bagong mukha ng aming kooperatiba,” he declared.
