MPT Mobility announced that starting this month, transaction fees are lowered to the following rates when reloading via the following means:

• Maya – 1 percent
• GCash – 1.90 percent
• Credit / Debit Card – 1.98 percent
• BDO and UnionBank – P 10

On top of that, the minimum amount required when reloading your EasyTrip or CCLEX RFID through MPT DriveHub is only P 1.00.

Reloading RFID account via MPT DriveHub is done in three steps. First, select the account to reload and the amount. Second, select your preferred top-up method; and lastly confirm the amount, pay and receive your top-up load in real-time.

Previously, the best way to skirt these transaction fees was to use Metrobank’s online facilities (though the load crediting isn’t done in real time). Unfortunately, starting this November, this payment method has been discontinued. ANYWAY.

The MPT DriveHub app is a travel companion app which lets motorists tap and track their EasyTrip and CCLEX RFID, reload in real-time, and view their transaction balance and history. It can be used through all of MPTC operated tollways: North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), C5 Link Flyover, Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), and Cebu Cordova Expressway (CCLEX).

Users gets the ultimate travel companion app experience as they also make use of the other features such as the toll fee calculator, travel advisories, list of toll service facilities areas, emergency roadside assistance, and direct customer service hotline.
