Peugeot Is Philippines' Fastest Growing Auto Brand In 2022

Peugeot earns the reputation of being the fastest growing automotive brand in the Philippines thanks to strong year-over-year sales growth and successive dealer openings since its re-launch in January under its new distributor, Astara.

At the close of November, Peugeot achieved 297 percent year-over-year growth—a new record for the French brand.

In addition, the brand remains on track with its dealership expansion plans as it opened new showrooms and service facilities in key cities across the country. Just recently, Peugeot led the back-to-back inaugurations of two new showrooms in the Visayas: Peugeot Cebu and Peugeot Negros.

“Customer response to our brand has truly been remarkable since re-launching in January, proving that more and more Filipinos are drawn to the allure of driving a Peugeot. We’re also making great progress with opening new showrooms and service facilities in partnership with our dealers, which is key to enhancing the ownership experience of our customers,” said Maricar Parco, brand head of Peugeot for the Philippines.

The brand-new Peugeot dealerships in Cebu and Negros were officially opened to the public on December 5 and 8, respectively. Owned and operated by the Gateway Group, both outlets reflect Peugeot’s new global dealership design concept, making them the first flagship dealerships in the Visayas to proudly show the rebranded Peugeot Lion shield.

Peugeot Cebu’s 481 square meter facility is situated along Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City and has a capacity of three vehicles in its showroom and three car bays in its service area. Peugeot Negros is a 520 square meter property located at Zone 15, National Highway, Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City and features a four-vehicle showroom and a two-car service bay.

With its newly opened outlets in Cebu and Negros, Peugeot today operates seven dealerships across the country. Other locations include Alabang, Pasig, and Quezon Avenue in Metro Manila; Pampanga in North Luzon, and Davao in Mindanao. Three more are slated to open before the years ends: Balintawak and Manila Bay in Metro Manila, Santa Rosa in Laguna, and Bocaue in Bulacan.

Additional locations are expected in Q1 2023.

Peugeot is also set to roll out a number of sales and service programs beginning January 2023 in line with its efforts to become the preferred auto brand of Filipinos who want to elevate their day-to-day driving experience to a new level of modernity and sophistication.

“We are bringing back our Easy Own Program next month, which is a great and attractive bank financing program for customers looking to purchase a Peugeot. We are also excited to launch our Emergency Roadside Assistance program to give our customers added peace of mind while driving their Peugeot vehicle on the road,” added Parco.

Parco further added, “Everything we do, every experience we offer, epitomizes the power of allure. It is what draws our customers to buy our vehicles, and it is what will keep them coming back as customers for life.”

  4. I dont know how they decide and define which car brand is the fastest growing in terms of what. But there are some chinese car brand that put out 35 dealership in 2 years. Peugeot has like 10 dealerships in like 5 years and multiple change of ownership?..very welcoming to be named fastest growing car brand.
