Just when you thought Ford had every segment covered with their Everest, they just released the Everest Wildtrak.
Set to be released in select global markets (the first confirmed market is New Zealand), it joins the Trend, Sport, Titanium, and Platinum grades.
Slotting between the Sport and Platinum trims (New Zealand doesn’t get the Titanium trim), the Everest Wildtrak gets styling borrowed heavily from the Ranger Wildtrak.
The Everest Wildtrak is distinguishable by its unique grille, 20-inch alloy wheels (including the spare), and model specific badging. It also gains its own color palette headlined by Luxe Yellow—a color that was specific to the Ranger Wildtrak.
Inside, the Everest Wildtrak gets Cyber Orange stitching on its seats, a soft-wrapped dashboard with an 8-inch digital cluster, a portrait-style 12-inch LED touchscreen with SYNC 4, and a panoramic sunroof.
With just a P 90,000 price gap between the Everest Sport 4x2 and the Everest Titanium+ 4x2, the chances of seeing the Everest Wildtrak locally are slim from that perspective.
However, if Ford Philippines positions it between the Titanium+ 4x2 and Titanium+ 4x4, as another 4x4 variant, the P 316,000 difference makes it possible for them to shoehorn in an additional variant. It could possibly go against the sporty-looking Fortuner GR Sport and Montero Sport Ralliart.
