Jumpstarting an exciting 2023, Nissan Philippines announced the arrival of a new variant of its best-selling mid-sized SUV, the Nissan Terra. The 2023 Terra Sport is designed for adventurous heads of families who crave exploration, and seek out thrilling experiences for them and their loved ones.
The Philippines is one of the most important global markets for the Terra and despite facing supply constraints last year, Nissan managed to sell 3,597 of these 7-seater mid-sized SUVs cementing itself as one of its best-selling nameplates locally.
With the arrival of the Terra Sport, Nissan Philippines adds a touch of sophistication to its design. The exterior chrome trims have been swapped out with high-gloss black ones, while the new black alloy wheel design gives it a bolder appearance.
The 2023 Terra Sport comes in four shades—Galaxy Black, Aspen White, and two colors exclusive to the variant: Stealth Pearl Gray and Fiery Red—colors which were once exclusive to the Navara Pro-4X.
“The Nissan Terra Sport is a perfect representation of Nissan’s innovative and exciting DNA,” says Nissan Philippines President Juan Manuel Hoyos. “With its rugged yet sleek styling, it perfectly embodies Nissan’s commitment to providing customers with vehicles that are not only functional but also stylish and fun to drive.”
The Terra Sport comes in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, and picks up from where the respective 4x2 VL and 4x4 VL variants left off.
Power comes from the tried-and-tested YD25DDTi engine. Equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger and common rail direct injection, it makes 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. On both variants, the transmission is a 7-speed automatic with manual mode.
Usable power aside, the Terra Sport comes with a full suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features such as Intelligent Around View Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Rear View Mirror, Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Forward Warning with Emergency Braking, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, and Driver Attention Alert.
As for convenience features, it has an 8-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 11-inch flip-down rear monitor, dual zone climate controls, and dual zone climate control. The 4x4 VL goes further with the segment’s only 8-speaker Bose sound system.
Along with the other variants of the Terra, the new Terra Sport also comes with Nissan’s class-leading 5-year warranty on parts and labor, giving customers security and peace-of-mind.
Starting February 25, the new Nissan Terra Sport along with all of the other Terra variants will be available across Nissan dealerships nationwide at these prices:

Outclassed by everest
ReplyDeleteALWAYS.
DeleteBut unlike your VW, its ACTUALLY selling well.
DeleteIsn't the YD engine also outdated? Heck, isn't the Ecoblue was revealed around 2015?
DeleteThe 2.0 EcoBlue is significantly newer and more refined than the ancient YD25 that the Nissan D40 Navara used. Even the 3.0 V6 diesel of the Ranger/Everest is an old engine used in Land Rover products in the 2000s.
Deleteauto hold? auto tail gate? ala parin?
ReplyDeleteNo auto hold. No power tailgate.
DeleteMabuti pa ang Everest na same or closer price with the Terra Sport, may power tailgate na at auto hold. Nissan is always outdated same with other Japanese brands. Yung Terra nga na nabili namin noong 2019, sobrang outdated na kung icompare mo sa Everest with that same year.
DeleteAng labas tira tira nlang🤣🤣🤣 para ring montero outdated na. everest the most techie but it would still be the fortuner who will laugh its way to the bank
DeleteI hate to agree with king kuliglig but he's speaking facts on this one.
ReplyDeleteStill the fortuner is the undisputed king in terms of units sold year on year due to its macho look, easy to maintain and proven reliability/durability
DeleteMacho??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
DeleteI already consider it a soccer mom car. Kung hindi manong, mga titas nakikita ko nagmamaneho nito.
New trend...kpop macho look.💥💥💥
DeleteNothing macho about the current gen Fortuner whatsoever
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or the infotainment screen looks smaller than the non sport VL?
ReplyDeleteGood spot. All 2023 Terras will get a smaller screen (9-inch to 8-inch), this includes the VL and the Sport.
DeleteJust release a base model 4x4 MT around 1.3m.
ReplyDeleteNo need of all these shitty ADAS
Yes, but only available with 4x2, he's asking the 4x4 with Manual
DeleteAray...🤦🤦🤦supalpal 2.0 🤐🤐🤐
DeleteIf you have a good chiropractic clinic in your community to deal the muscoskeletal pains brought by your new ride then go ahead get a Fortuner.
ReplyDeleteFor comfy and durability, less maintenance & professional look..go for CRV-AWD
ReplyDeleteThe Ford Everest only has chairs that are more comfortable and the powerful engine. But the Terra has a much more comfortable suspension which on a long drive leaves you feeling fresh compared to the Everest which bounces your brain all over the place resulting in serious headaches. The Fortuner suspension cannot be compared as it is very unstable compared to the Terra. Nissan just work on the seat comfortability and these other cars will not be able to compete.
