Chevrolet has given its Trailblazer a refresh for 2024 bringing additional style and features to its compact crossover.
Just released for the U.S. market, the 2024 Trailblazer wears a sharper face. The revised grille now has an X-motif first introduced in the all-new Trax last year. Meant to emphasize width, it’s complemented by new lighting elements and wheel designs.
Inside, there’s a massive 11-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The driver, meanwhile, gets an 8-inch digital gauge cluster. Wireless charging and Wi-Fi hotspot capability are available options. Push-button engine start/stop is standard as is a front passenger seat that folds flat allowing the crossover to fit objects up to 2,590 mm in length.
Powering the Trailblazer remains a family of turbocharged 3-cylinder engines. The base engine is a 1.2-liter unit making 137 horsepower, while opting for the 1.3-liter ups the output to 155 horsepower. Both engines are mated to a CVT, except for the 1.3-liter AWD which pairs it to a 9-speed automatic.
With the U.S. getting its Trailblazer from Chevrolet’s South Korea assembly plant (as does the Philippines), it will just be a matter of time before it reaches local shores. What do you think of the Trailblazer’s new look?
Perfect! All we need in a car. Aggressive style and bigger screen.
