The move marks the return of the V6 engine option to the local Challenger line-up. Though most Challenger owners would gravitate towards the legendary Hemi V8, those who don’t necessarily need the performance (or are concerned about fuel economy) can opt for the 3.6-liter V6. Despite dropping two cylinders and a Toyota Corolla’s worth of displacement, it still manages a healthy 304 horsepower and 363 Nm of torque. Standard idle start/stop tech further improves fuel mileage.

The Challenger GT routes all its power through the rear wheels with an 8-speed automatic giving it a quarter mile time of 13.8 seconds.

Priced at P 4.290-million, the Challenger GT comes with a functional hood scoop, performance steering, sports suspension, and launch control as standard. At each corner are 20-inch satin chrome wheels fitted with 245/45R20 tires. Inside, it has nappa/alcantara combination seats with heating and ventilation for the front row, an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, 9-speaker system with subwoofer, and more.

And despite being made to go extremely fast in a straight line, it comes with a multitude of safety systems including blind spot monitoring, electronic stability control, tire pressure sensors, rear parking sensors with a reverse camera.

The Challenger GT comes in 10 colors: White Knuckle, Torred, Granite, Go Mango, Pitch Black, Octane Red, Hellraisin, Frostbite, and Indigo Blue.
