The latest version of BMW’s entry-level Sport Activity Vehicle, the third-generation X1 has arrived in the Philippines. The country’s exclusive BMW distributor, SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation brings in the all-new X1 (model code U11) with a heightened sense of style, spaciousness, and digitalization.
The all-new BMW X1 continues with its classic SAV proportions, but gains a greater sense of presence with its slim adaptive LED headlights, squared out BMW kidney grille, X-shaped lines radiating out to the sides, and the chrome strip in the lower air intake. Standard on the sole variant, the X1 xLine include features such as underride protection and 18-inch alloy wheels in the Star-spoke Style 865.
The BMW X1 raises the digital experience with its wide screen display which is formed by the 10.25-inch information display and 10.7-inch control display. Powered by the BMW Operating System 8.0—the new system promotes the use of touch and voice controls, while significantly reducing the number of physical buttons and controls. Four USB Type C ports as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on the X1.
More than just its high-tech character, the X1 features a “luxury” instrument panel with padded inserts, a storage shelf that doubles as the wireless charging pad, a sports steering wheel, 8-way power adjustable front sport seats with memory. Perforated Sensatec (artificial leather) upholstery is standard.
The X1 has made significant improvements to acoustic comfort and this is backed up by a smooth turbo diesel engine. The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder BMW Twin Power Turbo engine makes 150 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic, it’s enough for a 0 to 100 km/h time of 8.9 seconds, while also returning more than 20 km/L.
In terms of driver assist features, the 2023 BMW X1 comes with cruise control with an automatic braking function and the front-collision warning system and the parking assistant package that includes a reversing assist camera and reversing assistant.
The new BMW X1 sDrive18d xLine retails at P 3,890,000 and comes with the comprehensive BMW 5-year warranty.

Wow! what a jump. From Php3.1M i think to nearly Php3.9M for the new gen X1.
ReplyDeleteOverpriced for the specs but they may still be selling a lot. Consider the bigger Lexus NX if the earlier complaints have been rectified.
DeleteOr X3 Business Edition for P 3.990M?
DeleteWhy change to dual clutch?? Their 8speed steptronic is doing just fine.
