GAC Motor, now distributed in the Philippines by Astara, returns to the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with its full range of vehicles, including the local debut of the first-ever GAC Emkoo.
As a Chinese brand with an international influence, GAC Motor Philippines will show the GS4 compact SUV, the GN6 MPV, and the all-new GS8 mid-sized SUV. Moreover, for those looking at the Empow, the top-of-the-line GE variant will make its public debut at MIAS. The Empow GE features 18-inch wheels, paddle shifters, power folding mirrors, and a full suite of advanced driving assist systems and safety features.
Making its Philippine debut at the GAC Motor stand is the Emkoo compact SUV. The 5-seater SUV has a future-forward design and cutting-edge technologies making it a technology flagship for the brand. First launched in China in 2022, the Emkoo sets the direction of the brand’s global SUV line-up.
GAC Motor will also be offering customers special deals during the four-day show as well as test drives of the GS4, GN6, GS8 and the Empow.
“Since launching GAC Motor under Astara in January, we’ve seen the enthusiastic and warm response of the market to our vehicles, especially for the Empow and the all-new GS8. With the arrival of the Emkoo, we are excited to change the game with our growing line-up of vehicles that offer great value for money to our Filipino customers,” said Jun Cajayon, brand head of GAC Motor.
GAC Motor’s presence at the MIAS highlights the brand’s strong commitment to deliver world-class vehicles to more Filipinos, supported by an expanded network of showrooms and service centers across the nation. The company is on track to have 20 GAC Motor dealerships across the country by year-end.
