Taking on the Sensuous Sportiness design, the Sonata’s four-door coupe look continues with its long hood and fastback roofline. Meanwhile, it shows off Hyundai’s progressive design with the signature Seamless Horizon Lamp, hidden headlamps, wide grille and air intakes for a more dynamic and aggressive appearance.

The dynamic design is emphasized by the contrast between sharp, linear elements, and clean, supple surfaces.

At the rear, the new H-lights further emphasize its high-tech image. The swooping spoiler-shaped trunk lid and muffler-shaped rear garnish on the standard model reinforce the impression of a high-performance sports sedan while the addition of a rear spoiler and dual twin-tip mufflers along with exclusive 19-inch wheels on the N Line further amplify that image.

The interior of the 2024 Sonata boasts of a driver-centric layout, while also lending a high-tech flavor. For the first time in a Hyundai model, it uses a panoramic curved display that combines both a 12.3-inch gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system in a modern, simplified dashboard layout. And despite Hyundai saying that they’ll be moving away from touch-type controls, the Sonata uses them for the climate controls for a “high-tech vibe.”

The Sonata also uses a column-type shift-by-wire control which creates more space in the center console area. The center console is further enhanced by the palm rest that provides more comfort for the driver by extending the armrest to lean up to the palm of the hand. The large size cup holder and tray provide additional convenience.
