After reservation books opened last year, Chevrolet Philippines says stocks of the 2023 Tahoe are now available at all authorized dealerships nationwide.
Now available in two variants: the Tahoe Z71 4x4 at P 7,702,888 and the Tahoe High Country at P 8,692,888, these are the latest generation of Chevrolet’s full-sized SUVs. Both versions offer the aggressive fascia with active shutters, LED daytime running lights, and Intellibeam Headlights. The Tahoe Z71 has 20-inch alloy wheels, while the Tahoe High Country has 22-inch alloy wheels, both riding on all-season tires.
Both versions are powered by a 5.3-liter Ecotec engine with 355 horsepower and 518 Nm of torque. Mated to a 10-speed automatic, it delivers on-demand power and trailering capacity. All that earth-twisting power is routed through independent suspension all around with Magnetic Ride Control and Adaptive Air suspension.
Compared to the previous Tahoe, this new one features a longer wheelbase (125 mm) and overall length (169 mm). This, in turn, promotes 40 percent more third-row legroom. In terms of cargo space, it is 66 percent bigger with the third-row up, and 30 percent larger with the second and third row seats down.
Aside from the luxury of space, Tahoe’s interior is filled with more tech-savvy features. Central is the 10.2-inch Chevrolet MyLink Infotainment System with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The driver also has a 15-inch Heads-Up Display. 12.6-inch rear LCD touchscreens are also available for both second- and third-row passengers for the Tahoe High Country variant. Each rear screen offers independent connections, so passengers can watch different content on each side. They can also share content from one screen to the other, mirror content (Android only) to a screen and send navigation points of interest, like restaurant suggestions or pit stop locations, to the central infotainment screen up front.
Other features include a 10-way power seat for the front passengers, power folding rear seats, and tri-zone climate control system, and standard Bose Performance Series speakers.
For safety, the 2023 Tahoe comes with an extensive host of advanced safety features including 360-degree Surround Vision, 7 SRS airbags, Forward Collision Alert, Front and Rear Pedestrian Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Park Assist Sensors with Camera, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, and Hill Descent.
