Fresh off receiving the Excellence of Service Award last April at the 2023 Changan Automobile Overseas Partner Conference, Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) is eyeing more honors at the First Changan Global Skills Competition.
Jayson Ambata, Service Advisor of Changan Sta. Rosa Laguna and Ponciano De Jesus, Service Technician of Changan Heroes Hills will represent the Philippines at the First Changan Global Skills Competition this June at Changan International Corporation’s (CIC) home base in Chongqing, China.
Ambata and Ponciano, champions of the First Changan National Skills Competition, held March this year, proved their mettle and earned top scores at last April’s Regional Skills Competition, beating contenders from Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Pakistan, and Russia.
The Changan Global Skills Competition aims to recognize and showcase the skills and capabilities of top-performing Service professionals across the Changan global distributorship network. It also serves to inspire Service teams to strive for excellence in fulfilling the Changan customer promise of “Lasting Safety.”
“The fact that Changan International Corporation invited us to compete in their First Global Skills Competition signals our readiness in the area of Service to bolster Changan’s bid to accelerate its global expansion. After Sales is the backbone of our business and I am proud of the world-class teams who are driving it,” affirmed CMPI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.
