GAC Motor Philippines has confirmed that the new-generation GS3 (now known as GS3 EMZOOM) is launching on June 30. But before that, they’ve revealed two crucial pieces of information: the variants and prices.
The GS3 EMZOOM will be made available in three variants for the Philippine market at the following prices:
- GS3 EMZOOM GS – P 998,000
- GS3 EMZOOM GB – P 1,098,000
- GS3 EMZOOM GL – P 1,198,000
The new-generation GS3 EMZOOM is the newest version of the brand’s GS3 crossover model, the entry level vehicle to GAC MOTOR’s line-up in the market. This latest version of the GS3 model is an evolution of GAC’s crossover SUV line, combining striking aesthetics, large space, intelligent technology, and incredible performance in one package.
Compared to the current GS3, the compact crossover features a striking design filled with clean, taut lines. It focuses on sharpness and volume, complemented by its more generous dimensions which are 60 mm longer (4,410 mm), 55 mm lower (1,600 mm), and 25 mm (1,850 mm) wider than the outgoing GS3. The wheelbase has been stretched by 90 mm (2,650 mm), while the front overhang has been shortened by some 31 mm.
Powering the all-new GS3 is a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 175 horsepower. Mated to a 7-speed wet-type dual clutch, terminal velocity is pegged at 190 km/h, while fuel economy is an outstanding 14.7 km/L (highway).
GAC Motor dealerships across the country are now booking reservations for the new-generation GS3 EMZOOM. Customers can also sign up for online reservations via GAC Motor’s official website. All units come with a five-year warranty.
Retail sales for the new-generation GAC GS3 EMZOOM starts in July.
Nice, a bit bigger and looks more high-tech than the Coolray and undercutting the TOTL pricepoint at a cool 101k (no pun intended). I hope this drives great as well. Top it off with a good cash discount and my search for a small crossover might end with this.
ReplyDeletelooks cool, I already prefer this over the coolray :P
