Volvo is dusting off the Cross Country variant with the EX30. Next year, this off-road centric model will join the rest of the EX30 line-up and should offer would-be light trailing enthusiasts a new choice in the market.
The EX30 Cross Country comes with a number of modifications over the regular version. These include more ground clearance, standard 19 or 18-inch wheels with bespoke all-terrain tires. Style-wise, it’ll get skid plates for the front, rear, and sides. This will be joined by black body paneling on the front bumper and trunk lid and a hood-mounted Swedish flag.
Volvo hasn’t given any numbers yet, but because the EX30 Cross Country is quite compact with very short overhangs, it should equate to good approach, departure, and breakover angles.
No news on where the Cross Country will go in the EX30 line-up, but it’ll likely sit atop the line given it’ll need a Twin Motor setup to unlock all-wheel drive.
