Underscoring the competitiveness of the Philippine auto industry, Honda Cars Philippines also launched the refreshed Brio alongside the new City.
The Brio continues with its sporty small hatchback design, but now improved with the new front grille and bumper design (both front and back). The Brio RS variant, meanwhile, gets LED headlights, DRLs, and fog lights complementing its full RS Design body kit—RS grille, side sills, tailgate spoiler, Crystal Black side mirrors, and smoke taillights.
Inside, the Brio continues to be an advanced, feature-packed sub-B-segment hatchback. For 2024, Honda Cars Philippines has added a touchscreen display audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well. Rear parking sensors are standard, with the RS CVT also getting speed-sensing door locks.
Like the refreshed City, the new Brio continues with its powerful yet efficient 1.2-liter SOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine. It produces class-above power at 90 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm at 4,800 rpm. The available transmissions remain a 5-speed manual and a CVT.

They should have add driver set height adjust and reverse camera like the wigo. With its price and specs It could do battle head to head to higher ground clearance raize matic E, but am sure it will be beaten black n blue. Vs wigo it will be knock out in terms of sales figure, maybe 30:1
ReplyDeleteThe S and V appear to be underspec'd. Few thousand pesos and you can buy a Raize with larger wheels, higher ground clearance, fog lamps, and additional passive safety features (HSA, ESC). This is a beautiful car but seeing its price, there are other better options. The RS is worth the price if you want this csr

ReplyDeleteIt's more expensive actually. Where the new Wigo ends is where the Brio starts. With the Brio not getting all the updates it got in Indonesia, the new Wigo starts to present better value (dependent on how TMP specs of course).

ReplyDeleteComparing the Raize and Brio, the Raize drives much much better. Brio's advantage is top end power only but aside from that, the Raize is better built (it isn't particularly well build by itself but compared to the Brio? Oh boy the difference is massive), better comfort, more spacious and practical, better equipped, safer, and more refined in terms of dynamics.
