The Tiggo 5x Pro Hybrid completes the Tiggo’s line-up’s transition to “Pro” status following the Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 7 Pro, and Tiggo 8 Pro.

Priced at P 1,140,000, the Tiggo 5x Pro Hybrid carries best-in-class features including LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, a power adjustable driver’s seat, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

It’s pièce de resistance, however, is the new-generation turbocharged 1.5-liter 48-volt mild hybrid engine mated to a 9-speed CVT. The electrified engine makes 154 horsepower and 230 Nm. It also gains rear independent suspension as well.

The Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, at P 1,350,000, now has the same powerplant. For the compact SUV, however, overall power is slightly up to 156 horsepower, while torque remains the same at 230 Nm.

Both the Tiggo 5x Pro Hybrid and Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid come with Chery’s standard 10-year or 1-million-kilometer engine warranty, a 5-year/150,000-km general vehicle warranty, and free three-year preventive maintenance service (PMS), and free three-year roadside assistance.

With the launch of the mild-hybrid Tiggo 5x Pro and 7 Pro, Dytianquin confirmed that Chery Auto Philippines will be offering more electrified vehicle offerings. Those in the pipeline include plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and even fully electric vehicles (EVs) as well.
