Ahead of its public launch on Friday, July 14, Toyota Motor Philippines has revealed the key features of the all-new Wigo.
Earlier, Toyota has officially confirmed that it’ll be made available in three variants: the J MT (P 609,000); E CVT (P 684,000); and the G CVT (P 729,000). Beyond that, the carmaker hasn’t divulged any details. Until now.
The Wigo has these three confirmed colors: Silver Metallic 4, Yellow SE, and Orange Metallic 3. For sure, they’ll have more colors on offer, but for now, these are the officially known ones.
Also confirmed is that the Wigo will continue with a carryover powertrain. The 1.0-liter 12-valve 3-cylinder makes 67 horsepower and 89 Nm. The base J comes with a 5-speed manual, but new for both the E and the G is a CVT gearbox. The fuel tank size is 36 liters.
Standard also on all Wigo variants are ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill-start Assist Control.
Moving up to the E CVT grade nets you keyless entry as well as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Meanwhile, for the G CVT, it adds a engine push-start and a 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat.
