About four months after Nissan Philippines opened reservation books for the 2024 GT-R, they have now revealed the full specs, features, and colors available before its official Philippine launch on September 2.
To recall, the 2024 GT-R is now priced at P 12.445 million. This makes it 28 percent more expensive than the 2020 GT-R and a whopping 41 percent more than the 2017 GT-R—the first time “Godzilla” arrived in the Philippines.
The 2024 GT-R gets a new front fascia. Gone is the V-motion grille and in its place is a broad grille with a mesh-pattern for improved cooling and reduced drag. Visually, it’s also meant to emulate the R34 Skyline GT-R. The front bumper is also new; reshaped for a wider look. It also contains hexagonal DRLs at each corner. At the back, there are new character lines and a new lens design for its iconic quad taillight cluster. A titanium exhaust system is standard with outlets in burnt blue.
For the Philippine market, buyers can opt for one of six exterior colors: Vibrant Red, Ultimate Silver, Gun Metallic, Pearl White, Pearl Black, and Bayside Blue. For the interior, there are three choices: Black, Amber Red, and Urban Gray.
Mechanically, the 2024 GT-R keeps the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 with 570 horsepower and 637 Nm. Power is fed through a six-speed dual clutch automatic and Nissan’s ATTESA electronic torque-split all-wheel drive. It also has a 1.5-way mechanical limited slip rear differential and at each corner are forged 20-inch RAYS alloy wheels.
The 2024 Nissan GT-R is sold exclusively at the Nissan High-Performance Center (aka Nissan Quezon Avenue).

OMG! Almost double the price as compared to 2017 when the GT-R was launched locally. Can't believe it! What is happening???
ReplyDeleteYeah I remember it being at 7-8m new. What happened here
DeleteYou gotta really want one to buy this. I'm talking you really, REALLY have to have it, like it's either you get this or you die type of thing.
ReplyDeleteThis is an emotional purchase. The price doesn't matter
DeleteI know there are people who do emotional purchase. They pay the DP. Loan it. Drive it. Then come what may if they can pay the remaining balance or not.
DeleteThere are people who already bought the initial batch of units of it which is good
ReplyDeleteIts still 100,000 Pesos cheaper than the Chevrolet Corvette C8 3LT.
But in this sort of market, money doesn't matter anymore. This market is about emotion and subjectivity, not so much objectivity. People who buy sports cars see 100k as just chump change, they will find reasons to go for C8 or R35 with the price gap not being one of them.
DeleteWith this price maybe they can twitch the engine a little to gain more herspers. Or a more premium interior.
ReplyDeleteMaybe these buyers actually didn’t work for their money perhaps
ReplyDeleteCrab mentality at its finest
DeleteI agree that this is a less sensitive price market If performance is the selling point, the gtr can still outperform most cars out there. Not all changes are cosmetic. The most expensive changes not seen outside like engine transmission suspension etc.
