Though the internal combustion engine version of the Q8 will remain on sale, the Q8 e-Tron rides on its own unique platform. It wears Audi’s new design language for electric vehicles. It features a new front design with a Singleframe light spoiler to highlight the iconic four rings logo. The logo itself is new, given a two-dimensional interpretation. The model designation found on the B-pillars is also new, and is the rear.

The Q8 e-Tron 55 and Q8 e-Tron Sportback comes standard with Digital Matrix LED lighting. Dispersing its light beams via 1.3 million pixels per headlight, it illuminates the road with remarkable precision. For example, the lighting can orient itself based on a car’s position in its lane, helping the driver to stay centered in their lane at night. New functionalities include advanced traffic information, a lane light with directional indicator lights, and an orientation light on dimly light roads.

The Q8 e-Tron is available in three variants with pricing that starts at P 6.250 million. The base e-Tron 50 uses a dual electric motor setup producing 335 horsepower and 664 Nm of torque. It offers a top speed of 200 km/h and a maximum cruising range of 491 kilometers. Moving up, there’s the e-Tron 55 with 408 horsepower and 664 Nm. This version goes up to 582 kilometers on a single charge. Finally, there’s the e-Tron Sportback. Sharing the same powertrain as the e-Tron 55, its aerodynamically-honed shape pushes the overall range to 600 kilometers.

Standard on the Q8 e-Tron is air suspension with improved tuning for optimized dynamics. It also allows the EV SUV to adjust its ride height by as much as 76 mm, enabling it to ford through as much as 500 mm of water. Other improvements include a revised steering system and a stiffer front axle bearing.

Inside, the Q8 e-Tron features a luxurious, well-crafted interior typical of the Audi brand. Standard features include a four-zone climate control with a built-in ionizer and adjustable fragrances, numerous seating adjustment options (including massagers), and the latest Audi MMI. This multimedia system uses two high-resolution displays as well as one smaller 8.6-inch display. The touchscreen interface has haptic and acoustic feedback.
