After opening reservations for its new sub-compact SUV, Geely Philippines has officially unveiled the GX3 Pro.
Previewed at the Manila International Auto Show last April, the GX3 Pro is priced starting at just P 778,000 for the S MT. The GX3 Pro Comfort CVT, meanwhile, is priced at P 878,000. However, as an introductory offer, Geely’s giving a P 80,000 discount on both variants. This effectively drops the prices to P 698,000 for the GX3 Pro S MT and P 798,000 for the GX3 Pro Comfort CVT.
“This model holds a strategic significance for Geely, as it aims to capture an entirely new customer base, particularly Gen Z. With its enticing introductory pricing and an emphasis on an enjoyable driving experience, the GX3 Pro is poised to play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and achieving five-digit annual sales figures,” said Geely President and CEO, Yugo Kiyofuji.
Built for urban confines, the GX3 Pro is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine. Shared with the Emgrand, it makes 102 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 142 Nm of torque from 4,400 to 4,800 rpm. The three-pedal version has five forward gears, while the two-pedal variant has a CVT with 8 virtual gears.
The ultra-compact SUV—it measures just 4,005 mm long, 1,760 mm wide, and 1,575 mm tall—boasts of a generous 2,480 mm wheelbase. Translating to a roomy interior, it has a cargo hold that maxes out at 400 liters—perfect for weekend groceries, a set of golf clubs, or even a folding bike.
Despite its entry-level pricing, the GX3 Pro is feature-rich with its standard 8-inch infotainment screen with screen mirroring, leather-feel seats, an engine push-start button, and more. The Comfort also adds a leather steering wheel and a sunroof.
As for safety, standard are dual SRS airbags and four-wheel disc brakes with ABD and EBD. With the GX3 Pro S variant, it gets a reverse camera with dynamic guide lines and a backup sensor. Meanwhile, the GX3 Pro Comfort CVT adds cruise control and stability control.
The 2023 Geely GX3 Pro comes in four colors: Red, White, Blue, and Gray. It comes with an extended 5-year, 150,000-kilometer warranty and one year free emergency roadside assistance.

Target market for dis price range are gen z n millenials, so apple carplay n android is a must. I cant really understand why geely is stubbornly not putting apple carplay n android auto on dear cars. Is it pride or pure ignorance of market needs? Or maybe pure stupidityπππ
ReplyDeleteApple Carplay and Android Auto are American SW. It will add to the cost of the product. Also, I think they thought their own entertainment apps might be enough.
DeleteWala ba tong cast feature via bluetooth tong headunit ng geely?
Will apple or android car play will save your ass? I would have sacrifice those instead by having much secure space in my car. Why is that a big deal? The F.
DeleteNice one Geely Chinaπͺπ¨π³
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of its looks. But this would be great for first-time car buyers or newbie drivers. Safety, tech, small, and high-riding. That 5-year warranty seems comforting also.
ReplyDeleteOld model since this was introduced in Q3 2017 in China domestic market. The platform is older - based on an old 2011 model. This one looks like a cash grab by the Japanese distributor of Geely Sojitz G.
ReplyDeleteYou really hate the japanese huh
Deleteto be fair there's no other ICE alternative for Geely outside this particular model, they have others under the Geely Geometry but those cars are purely electric
DeleteOther Geely products manage to look more expensive than they actually are. This one looks like its price.
ReplyDeleteGX3 Pro is entry level product, to find one they updated some of the looks from an old product. It is like an evolution of old Venue platform to become Soluto/Reina, or old Civic to City or old Corolla to be predecessor of Vios. There is a price to beat and of course, we do get what we paid for.
ReplyDeleteHindi kaya gagamitin ang profit from the sales to hurt our troops stationed at Ayungin shoal
ReplyDeleteI agree, at least man lamang magkakaisa bawat pinoy to boycott major chinese product such as cars.
DeleteGeely is privately owned car company in China and the local distributor of Geely in the Philippine market is owned by a Japanese conglomerate which is Sojitz ππ
DeleteBoycott are for petty people πππ
The design takes us back to the early days of Chinese carmaking. It definitely looks old in 2023.
ReplyDeleteBuy this car to support Chinese motherland.. More water cannons for us.
ReplyDeleteExactly, if we can at least boycott buying chinese cars since this is a major product, at least it has impact. Other small products from China, we don't have a choice.
DeleteBuying chinese cars supports the enemy's economy.
ReplyDeleteBoycott Chinese cars. Anyway those cars are not good anyway. Stop feeding the Chinese economy
ReplyDeleteChinese car brands only import. It is the established brands that have factories and hire thousands. That is why Chinese cars have no aftermarket support they don't invest much showroom lang.
ReplyDeleteFoton owns an assembly plant in the Philippines for many years πππ
DeleteHonda,Nissan and Isuzu permanently left the car manufacturing business in the Philippines ππ
This is GX3 Pro is a very well priced vehicle
ReplyDeleteIts cheaper when its available at cash discounts
People should stop mixing politics here as Japan and America also committed war crimes and manslaughter to the Philippines during WW2 ππ
Geely is a private company, not owned by China state government.
