Limited to just 20 units, the BT-50 Edition X comes with 18-inch Black Rhino Rotor wheels shod with aggressive 265/60 R18 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 all-terrain tires. Its functional roof rails have also been put to good use with the addition of Mammoth cross bars, Mammoth roof basket, and an Adventure Kings side awning from Overland Kings. Completing the accessories kit is a lockable revolver bed cover and a tailgate assist.

For an even sportier look, the BT-50 Edition X deletes its exterior chrome. The signature wing grille, door handles, and side mirrors are now finished in matte black, matching the meaty wheels.

The BT-50 Edition X is unchanged mechanically. Under the hood, it uses a 3.0-liter turbo diesel with 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to a 6-speed automatic. And guaranteeing that it’ll make camp just about anywhere, it has an electronically controlled Drive Selector featuring options for 2-wheel Drive Low, 2-wheel Drive High, 4-wheel Drive Low, and 4-wheel Drive High. Together with an electronic Rear Differential Lock, maximum contact and traction is achieved even on loose and undulating surfaces.

The package, worth around P 250,000, comes as a no-cost option to buyers of the BT-50 4x4 (SRP is P 1,790,000). Authorized Mazda dealerships will soon be taking reservations for this limited-edition truck.
