J.D. Power has ranked the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro series and the Tiggo 8 Pro series as first among medium-sized economical SUVs and first among medium-sized SUVs in China, respectively in the most recent Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study.
The APEAL Study asks owners to consider several attributes, ranging from the sense of comfort they feel when climbing into the driver's seat to the exhilaration they get when they step on the accelerator. Vehicle owners’ responses to queries about these attributes are aggregated to compute an overall APEAL Index score measured on a 1,000-point scale.
For the J.D. Power APEAL Study, the research was conducted in 81 major Chinese cities and covered 35,155 traditional fuel (gasoline or diesel) vehicles purchased between June 2022 to March 2023. All in all, 230 models were surveyed from 48 brands.
To date, Chery’s SUVs have exceeded 3.4million unit sales globally.
In the past 26 years, Chery Group has been investing in research and development (R&D) and technology, continuously innovating to keep up with consumer demand, industry trends, and global quality standards.
