Honda's New Concept Car Is Recycled And Reused

Honda is merging its slogan: The Power of Dreams with its vision of a purely electrified future at the Japan Mobility Show. The Japanese carmaker is showcasing its “dream” for future mobility products, services, and technologies that will augment human abilities and possibilities at the biennial show.

Confirmed for a world debut is its newest concept car: the Honda Sustaina-C Concept (lead photo). Aside from sporting an all-electric powertrain, the Sustaina-C is all about sustainability and circularity. For that, it’ll be made of acrylic resin that’s recycled and reused.

For those who’re after something a bit sportier, Honda will launch yet another sportscar concept alongside the Sustaina-C Concept: the Honda Specialty Sports Concept. This one promises the “experience of pure driving pleasure” in the era of electrification and automated driving technology.

Finally, Honda will show off the CI-MEV—a two-seat, four-wheeled EV that’s designed for last-mile mobility especially for areas which have limited access to public transportation or for people with difficulty walking long distances.

Are you excited for the Japan Mobility Show?
