Isuzu Philippines Teases Decked Out 2024 D-Max Limited

Hot on the heels of the Mazda BT-50 Edition X, Isuzu Philippines is coming out with their own version of a decked-out truck in the form of the D-Max 3.0 Limited.

Teased on their Facebook page (link below), the D-Max 3.0 Limited seems to mesh elements of both the X Series and Boondock Edition—two previous special edition Isuzu pickup trucks.

Based on the short clip, the D-Max 3.0 Limited carries styling straight off the Boondock Edition. This comes in the form of the large side decals, new side steps, wheel fender extensions, and Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tires with wheels that conspicuously look carried over from the old Boondock Edition.

Meanwhile, nods to the X Series are found in the various red accents, including what look to be racing-stripes that run down the tailgate. Even the fang-like grille has been given a makeover with a mesh-like insert and an Isuzu badge colored in red.

Various “Limited” decals complete the transformation.

Now, the D-Max Limited has been confirmed to carry the 3.0-liter 4JJ3-TCX turbodiesel engine based on the tailgate badge. This means it’ll have 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. In the non-Limited versions, it could be paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic—options which could very well be made available on the D-Max Limited.

What’s interesting is that eagle-eyed spotters have noted the absence of the bi-LED projector lamp. This could mean that the D-Max 3.0 Limited is purely a 4x2 model that’ll probably slot between the 3.0 4x4 LS-E AT (P 1,905,000) and 3.0 LS-A 4x2 AT (P 1,390,000).

Isuzu Philippines has yet to confirm the D-Max 3.0 Limited Edition’s official release date, but given the start of their teasers, it should be very soon.'
