After announcing it early this year, Toyota and Gazoo Racing is ready to reveal availability details of its ultra-rare GR Supra GT4 100 Edition. Despite the name, only three of these will be available worldwide—one for Europe, one for North America, and one for Asia.
One of the rarest Toyota vehicles ever launched, the GR Supra GT4 100 Edition is a track day car based on the 450-horsepower GR Supra GT4 EVO—the extensively enhanced race car launched at the start of this racing season.
Compared to the competition version, the GR Supra GT4 100 Edition comes exclusively in this striking Plasma Orange—a color that’ll also be made available in an upcoming GR Supra tribute edition.
Colorway aside, the collector-focused 100 Edition also has a larger hood and new dive plane aero at the front to improve downforce.
A new exhaust system, without muffler, is fitted to amplify the satisfying, throaty roar of the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo charged engine. The Power Stick, which governs the power output of the engine, will also be delivered in the same Plasma Orange color as the car itself.
Further differences are found in the carbon fiber wing mirrors, endurance LED headlights and a passenger seat. The car’s exclusive status is expressed through embroidered “100 Edition” logos on both seats and a unique badge on the dashboard. It also gets a full roll cage, safety harness, and an OMP racing seat that are all compliant with FIA standards.
The distinctive logo also adorns a car cover which protects the car from dust and dirt when in storage.
Performance-wise, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 now makes 430 horsepower and 650 Nm. It also gets a 7-speed sports automatic with paddle shifters. Handling all that power, the suspension gets KW dampers on both ends, a limited slip differential at the back, and a Brembo racing brake system with six pistons at the front and four pistons at the back. Pirelli 305/660R18 tires cap off the changes.
Toyota says the GR Supra GT4 100 Edition will only be offered to “friends of Toyota” at a mouthwatering price of 220,000 Euros (P 13.428 million) excluding taxes and delivery costs.
Since the beginning of this year’s season, the GR Supra GT4 cars have participated in more than 300 races, achieving 43 class wins and 125 podium finishes.
