You are basically looking at the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift hatchback. Although still referred to as a “Concept” it’s destined to replace the five-door sub-compact that’s been around since 2016.
The production-ready hatchback might be making its world debut at the Japan Mobility Show, but Suzuki showed it in full (inside and out) leading up to the biennial show.
A quick glance may be enough to dismiss the design as evolutionary, but squint harder and you do see design cues that weren’t there before. For example, the 2024 Swift now gets a prominent character line that runs along the side. The rear door handles have also migrated to a more familiar position compared to the “hidden” ones in the current Swift.
Perhaps the most controversial aspect is how the front-end meets with the sides as Suzuki designers have made it a point to make the prominent side crease meet with the base of the trademark clamshell hood.
Inside, Suzuki has given the Swift a much-needed redo. The touchscreen is now positioned high atop the dashboard. Other changes include toggle-like switches for the climate controls and angular air vents. Interestingly, the Swift keeps traditional analog gauges.
Suzuki has yet to reveal the all-new Swift’s powertrain, but the Japanese carmaker claims a “high-efficiency engine strikes a balance between driving performance and fuel efficiency.” The Swift also adds more advanced safety tech including forward emergency braking, adaptive high beam, and a driver monitoring system.

Those rear tail light elements look like those aftermarket cheaply made tail lights that was common in the early 2000s
