The high-performance Marvel R AWD is priced at P 2,888,888—a P 300,000 premium over the Marvel R Alpha launched last October 6. As its name suggests, the Marvel R AWD adds an electronic motor to the front axle giving it permanent all-wheel drive. System outputs now reach a total of 288 horsepower and, impressively, 665 Nm of torque. Because of the added power, it dispatches the century mark in just 4.9 seconds, while its dual-speed gearbox helps it reach a top speed of 200 km/h.

Using the same 70-kWh battery, range goes down slightly to 370 kilometers (from 402 kilometers), while weight is up to 1,920 kilograms from 1,810 kilograms. Ground clearance (132 mm) and towing capacity (750 kilograms) remain unchanged. It does, however, lose the front trunk or frunk that’s found in the Alpha model.

Added power aside, the Marvel R AWD also receives a Bose sound system—the first offered among the Chinese brands. This is on top of the already impressive list of standard features including a 19.4-inch touchscreen display outfitted with toughened Gorilla Glass, Nappa leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a power tailgate.
