First launching in the US, where it goes on sale there by the spring 2024, Toyota is dropping the conventional gasoline engine (including the V6) in favor of an electrified 2.5-liter 4-cylinder paired with their fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System Combining the engine’s power with two lighter, yet more powerful electric motors, the Camry now gets 225 combined horsepower in the front-wheel drive and 232 horsepower combined in the all-wheel drive versions.

Still riding on a carryover TNGA-K platform, the 2025 Camry has a retuned suspension for enhanced responsiveness and agile handling. The Sport grades also have specific tuning for even greater stability and handling.

Designed at Toyota’s CALTY studios, the 2025 Camry features the distinctive hammerhead front fascia. Standard across all grades are slim LED headlights, DRLs, and taillights. 18-inch alloy wheels are standard, with higher grade models getting 19s.

Inside, the 2025 Camry takes on the “open-concept” cabin for an airy feel. Refined materials including the first-ever use of a leather and microfiber (Dinamica) combination in the Camery give it a unique look. The seats themselves have been redesigned for improved comfort.

In terms of technology, the Camry has a digital gauge cluster (7 or 12.3-inch) paired with either an 8-inch or 12.3-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also standard is a wireless charger as is a combination of USB Type A and Type C ports. In terms of convenience, it comes with dual zone climate control with rear vents, a push-start system, automatic rain-sensing wipers, a moonroof and more.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard issue in the 2025 Camry. This suite includes pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, and even proactive driving assist.
