Leading up to its official launch (now moved to the first half of 2024), Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines (O&J) signed up 10 dealer groups to serve as their pioneering dealers in the country.
The dealers that signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with O&J are, in alphabetical order:
- Albert Go Group
- AngCore Group
- Autohub
- AutoIcon Group
- AVB Motorhub
- Berjaya Group
- Bonifacio Motors
- Evolve Group
- GR8 Motors
- Image Cars
The conference, led by the General Manager for Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific (Chery International), Jeff Liu, served as an avenue for the O&J Philippine Team to present in detail what Omoda and Jaecoo is all about, highlighting their company background, product portfolio for the next 2 to 3 years, brand communications strategy, business policy, and aftersales strategy.
A key update was also given to the people in attendance, namely the official timing of the launch and the formal introduction of the local team behind the brand. A test drive experience was also prepared for attendees, where they were able to test the Omoda 5 compact crossover (read our very own first take here).
“We are very excited that we are now finally able to show the actual car to our bank and dealer partners, and that we have given them the chance to try the car for themselves. But we are even more excited that our future partners think that our brand is very promising, with 10 dealer groups immediately expressing their interest to join us”, said Mr. Marco Chen, Country Director for Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines.
