Designed to show the versatility and comfort of the Emkoo, this leg of the #MyEmkooDrive had participants drive from the soon-to-open GAC Alabang along Alabang-Zapote Road to Casa Marikit in Lipa City in Batangas. The route encompassed a variety of city driving and highway scenarios including the Tanauan-Talisay route that circumvents Taal Lake.

For P 1.498 million, the Emkoo GL comes with features such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Integrated Cruise Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Surround View Camera System.

In terms of performance, it uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 177 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. Mated to a 7-speed wet-type dual clutch automatic, it does the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in less than seven seconds.

Aesthetically, the Emkoo is distinct with its sporty futuristic form. Its borderless V-shaped grille, adorned with full LED lighting cuts a unique feature. Meanwhile, the side has a sharp, sleek profile emphasized further by the electric hidden door handles. The “laser sword” LED taillights complete the avantgarde look.

Inside, the Emkoo comes decked in features including soft-touch materials, ventilated seating, multi-color ambient lighting, and a 10.1-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and a DTS-branded 6-speaker sound system. The partition-free panoramic glass roof crowns the Emkoo.
