The fast-growing Omoda brand has released its global export figures for the month of November and they’ve managed to reach 12,148 units. This brings their total of 134,078 units sold so far, signaling a stable growth for the brand.
More than just growth, Omoda also saw recognition globally in such a short span of time. For instance, it was shortlisted for the World Women’s Car of the Year (WWCOTY) along with the J7 from Omoda’s sister brand, Jaecoo. According to the Chinese brand, this achievement reflects their foresight in market insights thus meeting the consumer demands of the female demographic, in particular.
In the same month, Omoda has expanded its footprint to more countries including New Zealand and Brazil bringing the brand to over 10 countries. By the end of 2024, Omoda will double that presence to 20 countries including the United Kingdom in Europe.
Locally, the first batch of Omoda 5 units has arrived as part of their local validation tests. In addition, the brand has managed to sign 10 dealer partners as well as their first financing partner ahead of their brand launch in early 2024.
Isn't Omoda just a rebadged Chery?
