Chery Holding Group has achieved its best annual sales ever. In 2023, the Chinese automaker group which counts brands such as Chery, Jetour, Exeed, Luxeed, Omoda, and Jaecoo in its portfolio registered 1,881,316 vehicles solid—a year-on-year growth of 52.6 percent.
In December alone, Chery closed the year selling 215,690 vehicles marking their 12th consecutive month-on-month growth.
Meanwhile, annual exports of vehicles reached 937,148 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 101.1 percent. This secures Chery as China’s top passenger car exporter for 21 consecutive years.
Facing intense industry competition, Chery Holding is pursuing the path of high-quality development emphasizing brand elevation, international market expansion, technological advancement, and holistic value chain industry growth.
With over 13 million global automobile users (including 3.35 million overseas), Chery continues to evolve its brand pyramid, focusing on HEVs, PHEVs, and even EVs to fuel their rapid sales growth.
Delving into the details of their brands, the Chery brand sold 1,341,261 vehicles in 2023, jumping 47.6 percent from the year-ago period. Meanwhile, the Exeed brand scored a 134.9 percent year-on-year spike in yearly sales, which stood at 125,521 vehicles. Jetour, the SUV-dedicated brand, sold 315,167 vehicles throughout 2023, posting a 75 percent growth.
In the Philippines, Chery has so far sold 3,322 units—enough for them to reach the Top 12 in terms of brand ranking.
