Geely Holding Group Sold 2.79 Million Cars In 2023

The Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, composed of Geely Auto, Lynk & Co, Volvo Cars, Polestar, Proton, Lotus, Smart, Radar, LEVC and Farizon, achieved a 20 percent year-on-year growth to 2.79 million units—a record for the group. 2023 also marks the sixth consecutive year Geely managed two million units in aggregate sales.

New Energy Vehicles—HEVs, PHEVs, BEVs, FCEVs—grew over 51 percent year-on-year to around 980,000 units. It accounts for 35 percent of the group’s total annual sales.

Geely Auto—which also includes Lynk & Co and Zeekr—reported 2023 sales of 1.68 million units or an 18 percent increase versus 2022. Export to overseas markets such as the Philippines increased 38 percent to 274,101 units. In terms of New Energy Vehicles, they saw sales more than double to 354,471 units.

Lynk & Co proved to be strong registering a 22 percent year-on-year increase. Since its inception, the brand has delivered more than one million vehicles, setting a new growth record among automotive brands. Zeekr, meanwhile, delivered over 100,000 units in just its second year. The electric mobility brand of Geely also saw its first shipment to Europe with plans to double its sales this year to over 200,000 units.

This year, Geely Holding anticipates further accelerated growth, particularly in the electrified and clean alternative fuel vehicle segments across its brands. Nearly all brands under the portfolio have announced new electrified models in 2023 with global production and delivery slated in 2024. These models will benefit from Geely’s shared Sustainable Experience Architecture or SEA.

Geely Automobile Group alone has set a sales target of 1.9 million units for 2024—an increase of 18 percent versus 2023 figures.

    1. Monjaro ain't coming anymore to the Philippine market due to pricing issues..It won't stand a chance against the seven seater GAC GS8 SUV which is very popular now.
Geely won't modify the Monjaro into a seven seater SUV.
Geely Philippines got two Monjaro units which they've used for local test and evaluations..The former president of Geely Philippines was the one who decided not to sell the Monjaro in the Philippine market.
