In a Philippine industry first, Nissan Philippines is retroactively extending the warranty of the Nissan Kicks e-Power’s high-voltage lithium-ion battery from five to eight years.
Applicable to all Kicks e-Power variants—EL, VE, and VL sold from August 2022 onwards—the new warranty now covers the high-voltage lithium-ion battery for a period of eight years or 150,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). This is three more years more than the previous five-year coverage and matches the warranty offered by other major carmakers with regards to an electrified vehicle’s high-voltage battery pack.
Nissan considers this retroactive warranty extension on the lithium-ion battery a significant step towards enhancing customer satisfaction while solidifying their position in the electrified vehicle market. It also is a reflection of their commitment to delivering quality, reliability, and peace of mind to its customers.
The rest of the e-Power system—the electric motor and inverter—are covered for a period of five years or 150,000 kilometers as are the rest of the Kicks’s mechanical and electrical systems. The body and paint are covered for a period of three years or 100,000 kilometers.

DeleteIts good if ur battery conks out on the 5th year. So it will be replaced for free. Otherwise be ready to cough out 200k ro 300k for the new battery come replacement time. Hybrid cars loses 50% of its value on the 3rd year of ownership.
ReplyDeleteYes, Nissan dealers where you purchased your vehicle is the one assigned to replace the compressor for free and it’s only around 2-3hourd for it to be replaced when scheduled.
