After the continued success of its trademark participatory brand experience event, Mazda has announced that there will be three legs to its Mazda Fan Festa this 2024.
Mazda Fan Festa is a celebration of everything Mazda (read our experience in 2018 and in 2023) and is a place where people from all walks of life, including kids, can experience a wide variety of activities centered around one thing: the fun of cars. As a treat to all five senses, this year’s Mazda Fan Festa will concentrate on the areas of motorsports and esports.
Aside from the two usual legs at the Fuji International Speedway October 19 to 20, 2024) and Okayama (November 9 to 10, 2024), the Mazda Fan Festa will include another leg in the Tohoku region of Japan. This leg, to be held at the Sportsland Sugo in Miyagi Prefecture will be held from Saturday, April 6 to Sunday, April 7, 2024. Gates to the Sugo circuit will open at 8 AM and will close at 5 PM, rain or shine.
Once again, the Mazda 787B will do demonstration laps. Mazda will also show off the Mazda Spirit Racing RS Concept and the Mazda Spirit Racing 3 to the public. Mazda owners will also get to drive their vehicles on the track with an “All Mazda Parade Run.”
Admission tickets for the Mazda Fan Festa Tohoku will start sale on 10 AM, March 6 and will be sold through Lawsons. A single-day pass costs 2,200 yen for Saturday and 2,750 yen for Sunday (Advanced Sale). A weekend pass will cost 3,300 yen (Advanced Sale). Tickets are also available on-site but they will cost 2,600 yen on Saturday and 3,100 yen on Sunday.
