Check Out The Nissan Kicks e-Power 90th Anniversary Commemorative Edition

Nissan is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year so it’s only right for them to come up with special edition cars to commemorate that. One of their vehicles to get the 90th Anniversary Edition treatment is the Nissan Kicks e-Power, and this is how it looks like.

Set to go on sale in Japan (no word if Nissan will offer these kinds of commemorative editions elsewhere), The Nissan Kicks e-Power 90th Anniversary Commemorative Edition has copper accents throughout its exterior, door mirrors, and roof rails. Its 17-inch alloy wheels also happen to sport a gunmetal color. Inside, the seats get a special 90th Anniversary stitch. It also gets a camera-based rearview mirror (Intelligent Rearview Mirror) as standard.

And because this is sold in Japan, Nissan has made the prudent decision to equip it, as standard, with the cold weather package that consists of a heated steering wheel and seats.

Along with the Kicks e-Power 90th Anniversary Commemorative Edition, Nissan has also updated the Kicks for 2024.

In the latest update, Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection (basically a 360-degree camera in Nissan parlance) is standard across the range. The steering wheel has also been updated with a new leather finish.

Mechanically, the Kicks e-Power remains unchanged. The Nissan Leaf-derived EM47 electric motor still drives the front wheels (an additional MM48 electric motor for all-wheel drive models), while the 1.2-liter 3-cylinder HR12DE acts as a generator.
