After launching the Hyundai N brand as well as its initial line-up—the Elantra N and Ioniq 5 N, Hyundai Motor Philippines has revealed its first four official Hyundai N high-performance dealers. These dealers are: Hyundai Alabang, Hyundai Commonwealth Avenue, Hyundai Makati, and Hyundai Pasig.
At the ceremonial signing, HMPH President Mr. Dongwook Lee, HMPH Managing Director Mr. Cecil Capacete and four dealer executives, namely, Hyundai Commonwealth Avenue President Atty. Anna Lyne San Juan Ponferrada, Hyundai Pasig President Mr. Rudolph Samuel Bonifacio, Hyundai Makati Vice President Mr. Martin Paulo Arancon, Hyundai Alabang President Mr. William Chiongbian II, were present.
“We have been getting asked as to why we are already bringing in N. Well, one reason is it supports us, Hyundai, as a brand to become more competitive. Leveraging on our global heritage and accomplishments to set ourselves apart in the market. More importantly, it helps us push further our shared vision, which is to Innovate Everyday. Providing not just exciting mobility solutions but also finding ways to be present in the lives of more Filipino customers,” said Mr. Capacete.
Hyundai N is Hyundai’s high-performance, motorsports-derived vehicles with four core values: Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sports Car.
The Elantra N is a compact sedan with a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder capable of 280 horsepower and 392 Nm of Torque. Equipped with N Launch Control, the vehicle can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. Its stock exhaust even produces pops and bangs when upshifting in certain drive modes like Sport or N. N Grin Shift also allows maximum acceleration and a 10 horsepower increase in driving conditions for up to 20 seconds. The Elantra N retails for P 2,738,00 and comes in four colors: Atlas White, Abyss Black Pearl, Cyber Gray Metallic and Performance Blue.
On the other hand, the Ioniq 5 N takes on the features found in the Ioniq 5 N and imbues it with added performance. The Ioniq 5 N’s 84 kWh Battery powers its All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system in its front and rear motors, resulting to a 650-horsepower output with N Grin Boost. N Active Sound, integrated with the N e-Shift, provides a virtual sound optimized for EV N performance. The Ioniq 5 N is priced at P 4,250,000 and comes in five colors: Atlas White, Abyss Black Pearl, Cyber Gray Metallic, Performance Blue, and Performance Blue Matte.
