Mercedes-Benz Philippines Updates CLA And GLB For 2024

Mercedes-Benz Philippines has refreshed two of its gateway models—the CLA and the GLB upping its style and features for 2024.

The CLA 200 Progressive features a redesigned front bumper along with new LED high-performance headlights with adaptive high beam assist. At each corner are 18-inch light alloy wheels. Inside, the CLA 200 Progressive has a 10.25-inch touchscreen and an all-digital instrument cluster powered by the MBUX Multimedia System. For 2024, there’s an added center console compartment with a 12-volt socket and USB ports. Ambient lighting with 64 colors allows drivers to tailor their driving environment to match their mood.

As before, the CLA 200 Progressive is powered by a turbocharged 1.3-liter 4-cylinder engine with 163 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. This is paired with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic. The Dynamic Select feature offers selectable driving modes as well with four settings—Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Individual.

Pricing is set at P 3,990,000.

Like the CLA 200 Progressive, the Mercedes-Benz GLB 200 AMG is powered by the same motor. Here, however, it makes slightly more power—165 horsepower (torque remains the same). This is imperative since the versatile GLB 200 AMG keeps its unique 7-seater configuration making it ideal for families.

The GLB 200 AMG also has the same feature set as the CLA 200 Progressive—7-inch digital instrument display, MBUX multimedia system, and a new center console storage unit. Setting this SUV apart, however, is its 7-seater configuration. The second row can slide, recline, or fold in a 40/20/40 split, while the third-row drops down in a 50/50 split. With both rows folded down, it can swallow up to 1,812 mm long objects.

Outside, the GLB 200 AMG comes with LED high-performance headlights and 19-inch AMG 5-twin spoke light alloy wheels.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB 200 AMG retails for P 4,590,000.
