In a bid to boost its network expansion plans in the country, Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) signed partnerships with nine new dealer groups:
- Unli Drive Motors (Chery Fairview)
- Auto Ten Trade and Services (Chery Cordon)
- Laus Group (Chery Bacolor)
- Angcore Motors (Chery Davao)
- MNV Auto Group (Chery Oton-Iloilo)
- Oro Auto Group (Chery Zamboanga)
- Autonomics Motors Inc. (Chery Tuguegarao)
- Beatitudes Auto (Chery Baliuag)
- Citimotors (Chery Pasong Tamo)
Among the UAAGI executives present during the signing were UAAGI Chairman, Mr. Rommel Sytin, UAAGI Group Managing Director, Mr. Froilan Dytianquin, Chief Marketing Executive & SVP, Ms. Lyn Buena, UAAGI Dealer Development Department Vice President, Mr. Dan Calma, UAAGI Customer Service Department Vice President, Mr. Lito Landicho, UAAGI Dealer Development Department Deputy Director, Mr. Joel Villarin, CAP Sales and Distribution Department Vice President, Mr. Alex Aspillera, and CAP Marketing Vice President, Ms. Rosemary Cruz.
Chery Auto Philippines re-entered the Philippine automotive market in 2019 under the UAAGI distributorship. In 2023, CAP rolled out the “There’s More To Our Cars” campaign and introduced a new set of seasoned Sales and Marketing automotive executives who are now bringing CAP to a new era of change, growth, and innovation.
“Our goal to make Chery vehicles and aftersales services accessible to more Filipino car buyers is coming to fruition. The partnerships that we have inked demonstrates our commitment to elevate the Chery brand by offering our dealer partners and customers value packed automobiles that are a joy to drive and a worry-free Chery ownership experience,” Dytianquin added.
Chery vehicles are not properly serviced by gateway Cebu. The 3 yr free service seems useless as there no available slots even after 1 month of calling them. Need to find a reliable partner or else the brand will be trashed.
