Foton Philippines Signs 6 New Dealers


Commercial vehicle and truck specialist Foton continues to bolster its presence nationwide as it simultaneously signs six new dealerships that span Luzon and Mindanao. This rounds up the total Foton Network to 28 dealerships.

Strengthening the brand’s presence in Metro Manila is Foton Pasong Tamo while bolstering the brand in the northern outskirts of NCR are Foton Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija and Foton Tuguegarao. Foton Kawit, meanwhile, is enhancing the brand’s presence in the southern part while extending the brand’s reach to Mindanao are Foton Davao and Foton Cagayan de Oro.

All upcoming dealerships will boast of a comprehensive service facility for vehicle sales, spare parts, and after-sales.

“We are excited to have no less than six new dealerships joining the fast-growing Foton network of dealerships,” remarked Levy Santos, FMPI General Manager. “It’s a testament to their confidence in the brand to have seasoned automotive dealer principals signing on to be part of our Foton family,” he added.

Foton Davao is operated by Angcore Motor Company Inc. while Foton Sta Rosa Nueva Ecija is operated by Autonomics Motor Corp. Foton Tunland CDO is owned by Otto Motto while Foton Kawit is owned by 1Dynamix Automotive Inc. Foton Pasong Tamo ,on the other hand, is owned by the Citimotors Group while Foton Tuguegarao is owned by DI San Motor Corp.

Foton boasts an expansive, world-class 11-hectare assembly plant in Clark in Pampanga, which houses the major facilities of the brand’s operations including vehicle assembly, parts warehouse, pre-delivery inspection, and body fabrication. It also employs around 700 people with an annual capacity of 12,000 LCVs, trucks, and heavy equipment.
