Seres Is Now A Member Of Electric Vehicle Association Of The Philippines


The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) announces the addition of QSJ Motors Philippines to its growing roster of members. The announcement coincides with the official launch of the Chinese New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand, Seres.

Seres in the Philippines will start with a three-vehicle line-up: Seres 5 Range Extended EV, Seres 5 Saker Falcon EV, and the Seres 7 Range Extended EV (more info here).

With this three-vehicle lineup, QSJ Motors Philippines aims to commence retail sales by September. Plans are also underway to establish an experience center facility and a 3S showroom, enhancing customer experience and providing comprehensive sales, service, and spare parts support.

EVAP President Rommel Juan and Chairman Emeritus Ferdinand Raquelsantos presented the membership certificate to Kevin Chiang, Managing Director of QSJ Motors Philippines, and John Tovillo, Managing Director of Seres EV.

President Rommel Juan expressed his optimism about the new partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome QSJ Motors Philippines and the Seres brand into the EVAP family. Their entry into the local market aligns with our mission to promote sustainable transportation and further drives the adoption of electric vehicles in the Philippines.”

Kevin Chiang, Managing Director of QSJ Motors Philippines, shared his excitement about the launch and partnership with EVAP. “We are honored to join EVAP and contribute to the growth of the EV industry in the Philippines. The Seres brand is dedicated to delivering high-quality electric vehicles that meet the needs of Filipino consumers, and we look forward to a successful rollout starting this September.”

John Tovillo, Managing Director of Seres EV, added, “Our goal is to provide Filipino drivers with innovative and eco-friendly transportation options. By collaborating with EVAP, we aim to leverage their extensive network and industry expertise to promote our brand and achieve our sustainability objectives.”
