Luxury European cars tend to be very expensive because of high labor and production costs and the 50% of NRP PH tax rate. They are also complex, thus difficult and expensive to maintain and it doesn't help that this Audi Q8 e-tron is an electric vehicle with all the disadvantages of EVs that is why it is a hard sell with very low demand that its plant in Brussels, Belgium is reportedly closing. The Q8 e-tron costs from P6.25M-P7.25M. Cars even if expensive will find its buyers but EVs are particularly problematic as early adapters have found out. ICE and hybrids are the best options.

Nobody will buy a 6 figure battery on a 10year old car just to keep it running and usable.
