Geely Auto Group has announced that for the first half of 2024, they have sold 955,730 units—a 41 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Overseas sales showed exceptional performance with Geely International sales reaching 197,428 vehicles—a 67 percent growth. This growth is a historical high for Geely as it remains commitment to its globalization strategy.
Geely has achieved high market share in multiple countries. In 14 countries, including the Philippines, they have been ranked among the Top 3 in terms of Chinese brands.
To address the diverse requirements of overseas customers, Geely is implementing a “multi-energy product strategy.” This approach integrates fuel, electric, and hybrid vehicles.
Geely’s global line-up: the second-generation Coolray, Monjaro, and Emgrand have all become top choices in their respective segments. They consistently rank in the Top 3 (among Chinese brands) in several countries.
In the first half of 2024, Geely expanded its global footprint by adding over 120 new sales and service outlets. The company now operates more than 650 sales and service points across 76 countries and regions.
Geely has also established three subsidiaries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. It will also continue to expand its business by expanding into markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
2024 is a pivotal year for Geely’s development in global markets, with the annual export target increasing from 330,000 to 380,000 units.
