Owners Share Their Positive Experiences With The GAC GS3 Emzoom

In celebration of the GS3 Emzoom subcompact crossover’s milestone of 1,500 units sold right before its launch anniversary, GAC Motor Philippines, thanked Emzoom owners with a celebratory drive from different GAC dealerships in Luzon to Pampanga.

Nearly a hundred GAC Emzoom vehicles set off from various assembly points across Metro Manila, South Luzon, and North Luzon, including GAC Motor dealership locations like Alabang, Lipa, Kawit, Bacoor, Santa Rosa, Manila Bay, New Manila, Congressional Avenue, Fairview, Pasig, Marilao, Pampanga, and Tarlac, and converged at Petron Station KM23 along NLEX-northbound. From there, the convoy proceeded to Fabrika Villas in Guagua, Pampanga, where a luncheon featuring a program and games awaited the participants.

GAC Motor Philippines is celebrating a significant milestone, having sold over 1,500 GS3 Emzoom units in the country by the eve of its anniversary launch on June 30, 2023. The brand concluded May 2024 with retail sales of 320 units, of which 215 were Emzooms, bringing the total to 1,569 Emzoom vehicles sold since its Philippine debut at the end of June last year.

“To have a big group of Emzoom owners coming together to show their support and enthusiasm for their cars is a spectacle that never ceases to amaze our team at GAC Motor Philippines. Hand in hand with all Filipinos, we will forge on to bring transformative mobility options to every corner of the country. Here’s to the next thousands more GAC Motor cars conquering Philippine roads,” Franz Decloedt, Brand Head of GAC Motor Philippines, Astara Philippines, stated.

Several participants also shared their positive experiences about the gathering and their own GS3 Emzoom vehicles.

“We’re gathered today to celebrate our new friendships and ignite a passion about our favorite Emzoom. We get to appreciate the beauty and reliability of our trusty and agile subcompact crossover with each other, and surely there will be more of us at these drive events soon. Buckle up, let’s hit the road and turn every drive into an adventure. We will Emzoom on,” stated Patrick Licup, President of the GAC Emzoom Club PH.

Other Emzoom owners proudly shared their stories:

“It all happened so fast, we just saw it at the mall, and immediately fell in love with it. And then in two weeks’ time, our family got our hands on our own car. Now, I am a proud and happy Emzoom owner,” Kristian Lugtu said.

Another customer, Jay Vincent Serial chimed in and said, “We were looking for a new crossover for our family’s use. At the Emzoom’s price point and the top features it offers, the competition was not even close.”

The GS3 Emzoom is a price-competitive subcompact crossover outfitted with a 1.5 TGDI engine, complemented with a 7-speed wet dual clutch transmission (7WDCT), producing 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque.

Aiming for 35 locations in total by year-end of 2024, GAC Motor has also recently conducted successive openings of new dealerships throughout strategic sites in the Philippines. These include GAC Motor dealerships in San Fernando, Pampanga, Iloilo City in Western Visayas, Sumulong Highway in Cainta, Rizal, General Santos City in Mindanao, and Marilao, Bulacan. More establishments are set to open this year in Santa Rosa, Fairview, Bacolod, Kawit, Congressional Avenue, Mindanao Avenue, and Valenzuela City.

As far as i knew as of now owning a china car will not give you fun, but surely will give you head aches and lot of stress.

    5. But you said japz, No fun in driving a car with turbo and dct if its not reliable and durable, you can have fun in the garage if it has 6monts waiting time on crucial parts replacements.

    6. Hrv turbo 1.5M, nissan kick 1.2M, raize turbo with manual mode and paddle shifter. Gèely coolray has more reliable engine and smoother transmission than the GAC emzoom.

  6. They're one year old cars. Do people really expect anything to be broken at that point? Sabagay, chinese cars. Its a miracle if nothing goes wrong in a couple of years.

    1. Its a miracle that chinese cars are already 38 years old. Not a couple of years as you might think. In the last china intl car show, the japanese engineers who came are all in awe of the technology and build quality of china cars on display. I believe they already made a reverse engineering of some china units for them to learn and update their products and quality.
