2024 JAC JS8 Pro Features Detailed For Philippine Market

JAC Motors Philippines, which was launched at this year’s Manila International Auto Show, is building on the success of its flagship JS6 premium sport-utility vehicle (SUV) with the all-new JAC JS8 Pro. This seven-seater promises value, all while offering space and performance that Filipinos look for in an SUV.

The JS8 Pro sports a striking appearance, with automatic LED headlights and LED daytime running lights flanking an assertive front grille. Combined with a black trim with silver inserts, it makes for a distinctive fascia. Elements like the upward-sloping window line, black fender trim and two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels accentuate the 160-millimeter ground clearance.

The rear features full-length LED taillights that emphasize this SUV’s wide stance. The standard electric tailgate and easy open trunk provide greater convenience when loading items into the 418-liter cargo area.

The JAC JS8 Pro has a spacious and well-equipped cabin. The standard power panoramic sunroof adds natural light and ventilation to an already airy interior, which is trimmed in black leather. Front passengers enjoy heated and electrically adjustable seats and a wireless charging pad, while independent front and rear climate controls can keep all seven passengers cool.

The dual 12.3-inch digital screens contribute to this SUV’s sleek dashboard – one is the full LCD gauge cluster, while the other is the floating, central touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that also displays the view from the 360-degree panoramic camera.

The JS8 Pro also incorporates Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Door Opening Warning. It also comes standard with front, side, and curtain airbags, as well as ISOFIX child-restraint anchors.

A family SUV like the JS8 Pro comes with an advanced powerplant that combines class-leading performance and fuel efficiency. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission offers quick and precise shifts to maximize the turbocharged 1.5-liter, direct-injection inline-4 gasoline engine producing 182 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride even with seven adults on board. A 19-degree approach angle and 18-degree departure angle provide adequate clearance on rough roads.

The JAC JS8 Pro is priced at just P 1,350,000 and is now available at JAC Manila Bay. For its launch, JAC Philippines is also offering monthly payments as low as P 14,245. And with a 5-year warranty, it offers long-term peace-of-mind ownership.
